Boy or Girl?

Hi everyone,
i have been trying to figure out if Blueberry, my sisters budgie, is a boy or girl. We have assumed he was male for the past two years, but his cere is clearly the brownish red of a girl. It doesn't sing like the other males we have had, but then again, it is a "slow learner". I really think she is a girl, but my sisters disagree. What do you think?

Hello skylover,

you have a very cute little bird there. Actually I am not really an expert in identifying the sex of birds. According to the picture you posted I would say you have a cute little girl.

I think its a girl

thanks everyone! I knew she was a girl after all Blueberry has a very interesting story as well. We got her about two years ago in September, and when we were in the car ride home, we decided to get some pizza. While my dad was in the store getting it, we opened the box to see her and she slipped out and ran into the front of the car, into all the wires in the front. On the rest of the way home, I was under the dashboard looking for her, but she was no where to be found. My dad had to open up the whole front section of the car to find her wedged between some wires without making a noise. My sisters and I were so angry at her that day. It was a funny but weird experience. Ever since then, Blueberry has been a little "slow" in learning new things. She just sits there most of the time, while the others move about Anyway, thanks for agreeing with me. I knew Blueberry was a GIRL
